Don't Let Thieves Take The Wheel!

Recently, there has been a couple of vehicle thefts, and there have been other reports of car break ins/ attempted car break ins within your area that have all occurred in the early hours of the morning. Officers will be in the area for reassurance and monitoring any activity. 

Modern vehicles are smarter than ever, but so are the criminals targeting them!

Key-less theft can happen in minutes, often without any signs of forced entry. The good news? A few simple steps can significantly reduce the risk:

🛡️ Keep your keys in a Faraday pouch. If you don't have a Faraday pouch, a key wrapped tightly in tinfoil may work too!

🏠 Store keys away from doors and windows.

🔒 Use a steering wheel lock for an extra layer of protection.

📲 Keep vehicle software updated.

👀 Be alert to suspicious activity around your vehicle or home, and call 101 or report online to log the suspicious activity with police.

📞 Dial 999 if you see something that is happening now!
